Given our family’s experience, if you want PAIN KILLED, FUNCTION RESTORED, or maybe even your LIFE SAVED, GO TO PATHWAYS PHYSICAL THERAPY. I’m not trying to sound like an infomercial, just honestly explaining what we experienced being treated by Linda and Kathy at Pathways. This is not your typical physical therapy. We had tried that over the years and found it to be of little or no help.
Cases in point:
1 ) 74-year-old male with a torn meniscus, heart problems, balance and memory issues was immediately signed up for surgery by an orthopedist, given crutches and a lot of addictive pain pills. Feared outcomes: increased falls, painful exercises trying to restore function post-surgery, increased mental fog and possible death from the anesthetic, pain pill addiction and likely arthritis.
2) 76-year-old male with Parkinson’s suffering bladder issues as well as general stiffness and spasms in his upper body is seeing marked improvement in all areas since receiving treatment from Linda. Watching him move, you’d never know he had PD. The biggest deal: he likely avoided catheterization.
3) 75 year old female with “stop you in your tracks” back spasms as well as Achilles tendonitis and shooting pain in her foot got no help from chiropractic. then one first gets up in the am to head to the bathroom in a hurry and is stopped by a severe and prolonged spasm, well, imagine the worst. The spasm was dealt with in one visit to Pathways. The other less serious issues improved with each visit but took a little longer, but not much. So, function hugely improved! Diapers avoided!
4) 79 year old male doctor with a very bad heart suffered great pain and disability from spinal stenosis. He was unable to sit for more than 20 minutes so certainly couldn’t fly across the country to fulfill work obligations or have much of a normal life otherwise. He was in such dire straits, he signed up for back surgery which seemed like a death warrant. After three months of treatment at Pathways, he resumed his normal, pre-stenosis life, having avoided back surgery. He’s been fine in that regard for 3-4 years.
In our experience, these are miracle cures, but to Linda and Kathy, they’re business as usual.
Using a variety of methods, they assess the situation and get after it. Treatment is tailored to the needs of the client. We think of them as body whisperers. They are highly trained, professional, honest, ethical, innovative -- and so nice. They don’t make promises, but I will. I promise that if anybody can help you ease pain, restore function or otherwise improve your physical condition, it is a physical therapist at Pathways.
Our family pays out of pocket and considers the cost of our treatment a bargain. I don’t want to think of the shape we’d be in without it.

I was referred to Linda at Pathways Physical Therapy by Dr. Simin Faghih- Nakhjiri of South Sound Oral Medicine. I went in having jaw pain thinking it was TMJ but during my consultation Dr. Faghih- Nakhjiri I explained what was going in with my jaw and explained other issues I was having. The main one being that since I was 19 (I’m 26 now) every time I went running I would get this terrible pain in my right side. This pain made it so that I had to quit running due to intolerable pain and it also affected me when hiking and skiing. I like to live a active life and this pain has held me back for 7 years of my life and to say it has frustrating would be a nice way to put it.
Linda’s hands on treatment approach is not like any other physical therapist’s treatment that I’ve experienced. Before Linda I had seen 6 different physical therapists for my pain in my side when running and not one of them was able to help me! She uses methods that I’ve never had used on me by another physical therapists. She’s great at listening to what you have to say and what’s going on with your body. You will defiantly notice a positive difference with whatever issue your having with your body after just one treatment.
Since seeing Linda the pain in my side when I run along with other chronic pain issues and inflammation has been going away. The longest time I had been able to run since before Linda was about 22 minutes which was a one time thing usually only about 15 minutes before I had to quit due to pain! I currently am consistently running 29 minutes 4 times a week and adding 1 lap every week and could run longer but am slowly building my stamina and not over do it!
Like I said Lind’s methods are different from the 6 physical therapists who had worked on me for the same problem. She understands how the human body works better than anyone who has worked on me I have learned a lot about how the body works since seeing her. Between the treatments and her exercises my results speak for themselves. My body has slowly been balancing itself out and every day I feel stronger and better and moving towards a pain free life.
I live 2 hours away and drive 3 times a month and pay out of the pocket for treatment because its 100% worth it! For the first time in 7 years I see the light at the end of the tunnel to living a pain free life. I live a very active lifestyle and the problems I have with my body have held me back from living the life I want to live. I’m not through with my treatment yet but I will continue to see Linda until I can run pain free because the drive and paying out of the pocket is 100% worth it. If your someone who is having chronic pain issues or old injuries and you’ve tried other treatment and nothing has helped you must give Linda at Pathways Physical therapy a shot seeing her is a investment in your body and living a healthy life!

I am currently a cash patient and seek reimbursement through my insurance company. It is well worth paying cash and receiving the fabulous care that I do with Linda.

I am a medical doctor and after taking classes from Linda I was able to treat my patients in a whole new way. I got real results instead of just prescribing a pill or sending them to traditional physical therapy.

Due to joining Medicare a year ago, my husband and I now pay cash for treatment of our tune-ups. Self-care is not selfish, and this is part of our plan for aging well together. The value we receive from Pathways leads to our commitment to figure out ways to use their services and we are certainly willing to do our own paperwork as the need arises in the future.
I can continue to function in every aspect of life requiring physical strength. This includes house, garden, and play. Pathways PT is a wonderful medical opportunity I have in my life.

Linda has classes offered which teach us how to reprogram our body so we can start healing ourselves. She is teaching the Bowen technique called Ruffini Mechanoreceptor Reset (RMR) in a small group. It is wonderful! I can relax the tired muscles and my body starts the healing process.
My dentist sent me to an oral and maxillofacial surgeon because I had been having severe tooth sensitivity for many years. My previous dentist had done root canals on the affected teeth. When I wound up at a new dentist and additional teeth began to experience the extreme sensitivity, my dentist suspected something else was occurring, since I’d never had any decay. The tooth nerves weren’t behaving normally; they were highly highly sensitive and couldn’t even be cleaned w/o numbing the nerves in my mouth. The maxillofacial surgeon wound up referring me to Pathways PT because he suspected my neck muscle spasming was greatly affecting my mouth muscles and nerves. I thought that theory sounded farfetched, but I really wanted to exhaust all avenues.
Over the course of my life, I’ve had a LOT of PT for various things at a large number of different clinics. My experiences with PT had been dismal. In every case, the physical therapist (or their assistant) assigned me exercises, then spent a small time observing me do them at each visit while they joked and talked w/co-workers, tossed towels at each other and sat in front of their computer documenting my ‘progress’ during most of my visit. I’m disciplined about doing my exercises and can apply heat/cold packs at home, so these appointments felt like a BIG waste of time and money. Occasionally, I’d receive a few minutes of light massage or ultrasound, but rarely. When the surgeon mentioned PT, I shared my previous experiences w/him. When he looked me right in the eye and told me Linda Craig has made a big difference for a lot of his patients, I decided to try Pathways PT. I figured I could always stop going if it was more of the same.
WOW!!! The surgeon was 1000% right. Pathways PT is NOTHING like any PT I’ve received anywhere else. My appointments are all hands on, deep tissue massage, and a whole lot of things I have no idea what they’re called, but they involve stretching muscles, tendons, immobilizing one area while working on another, increasing my range of motion, etc. Linda uses many approaches, different therapies and has an endless amount of knowledge she applies to my problem areas. I leave my appointments feeling amazing.
Because of Linda’s work on my neck, mouth and jaw muscles, I’ve been able to stop seeing my chiropractor and massage therapist, which saves me a lot of time, money and weren’t working anyway. I’m vigilant about doing my exercises, and guess what? I no longer have sensitive teeth. The ‘farfetched’ suspicion of my dentist and the surgeon were spot on. I have chosen to continue my therapy w/Linda because I have scar tissue in my neck from a severe whiplash years ago. Linda’s techniques keep me well oiled, tuned up and in good working order. My neck pain is reduced, my supporting muscles stronger, I have increased flexibility and range of motion.
I use my employers plan to deduct tax free dollars from my paycheck, then use tax free money for my medical expenses. I have no hesitation to use Pathways PT as an out of network provider because my quality of life is greatly improved as a result. And all those root canals? I no longer need them.
If you have a persistent issue and/or need physical therapy, the value you get at Pathways PT is enormous, not to mention not wasting time and money w/appointments for ‘therapies’ you can do at home, and in many cases don’t help the root of the problem, but only address the symptoms. I highly recommend giving Pathways PT a try. I think you’ll see a difference in their approach and how you feel.
– Andrea P.
I like coming to Pathways PT compared to other clinics because they spend the entire time working on my body to move better and not watch me on the exercise equipment.
– Steve Alderson
Off and on I would have back, shoulder and neck problems. Although I went to the physician, other PT’s, massage therapy and chiropractors the problems continued. One day when I was at the exercise club, I noticed a PT card for Pathways on the message board and the manager said she attended the club so I made an appointment.
Her hands on multiple system made sense and I started following her suggestions she gave me working on strengthening my body so the pain would go away. I was experiencing pain while practicing and rehearsing with the violin. Linda had me bring in my violin to her office and play for her. She gave me suggestions to release the tension in my neck by relaxing my jaw as I played. Then engaging my core and guided my posture while sitting for skeletal alignment which gave me extra strength in my shoulder and arm to hold up the violin for longer periods of time. Since holding the instrument is an unusual position to be in she showed me how to do a release exercise after I played. Linda suggested 5 different and easy exercises which only took a minute to do. I appreciated her willingness to take the time to analyze the problem and delivered a quick solution.
I have practiced the violin every day, rehearsing every week with a trio for an hour and still enjoy playing music at 79 years old. I am comfortable every night without taking medications and I can sleep at night. I am grateful for Linda’s help at Pathways.
Pathways is different. Linda can feel which muscles are in trouble and she goes to the root of the problem. I always feel better after a treatment. I feel the exercises she gives are helping me solve whatever the problem I have. She is so good at encouraging us, I feel like doing the exercises so she will see the improvement.
Also preventing the problem is important. The guidance Linda has suggested has helped me in my housework, reading and garden. Linda gets down to the root of the problem and helps us heal.
I didn’t feel other PT’s knew how to release pressure naturally, they would just apply heat and tell me to do some exercise which I was not motivated to do. Normal PT’s measured my strength by using some tool.
Linda has classes offered which teach us how to reprogram our body so we can start healing ourselves. She is teaching the Bowen technique called Ruffini Mechanoreceptor Reset (RMR) in a small group. It is wonderful! I can relax the tired muscles and my body starts the healing process.
The treatment is worth every penny I pay out of pocket. I can continue to function in every aspect of life requiring physical strength. This includes house, garden, and play. Pathways PT is a wonderful medical opportunity I have in my life.
I am excited to recommend Pathways to everyone I meet. Pathways has solved many problems I have encountered and given me encouragement to improve my body. Take advantage of the classes Pathways offers. They are a wonderful way to help ourselves and tune up every part of our body!

The Pathways Physical Therapy team got me walking again and I am just thrilled.
I highly recommend Pathways Physical Therapy Inc. With Linda Craig’s many years of special training and effective techniques, her team really gets results.
I quite literally, would be in a wheelchair today without the applied expertise and hands on anatomical knowledge used in her practice. Even though my insurance doesn’t cover my physical therapy, I happily self pay for my treatment because I have full confidence that my physical therapy needs are always met with exceptional and professional treatment methodology.
With Linda’s team helping me and my determination to do everything they recommend for me to get better, I have always had very positive results. Over the last 25 years of using Linda Craig’s PT methods through her private practice, I have consistently regained the use of any injured area I may have.
– Dayton Knipher
I was referred by Dr. Brian Stemp D.C. to Linda with health issues. My experience is amazing with Linda. She is helping me with maintaining my health concerns and with a very unique injury to my psoas muscle and pelvis. I have made great strides and progress with my injury and without Linda’s help I would not be as far along in my recovery process.
I have had multiple PT’s throughout the years with various injuries and no one holds a candle to Linda. She is in tune with the human body and her quest for knowledge shows in her work.
I am currently a cash patient and seek reimbursement through my insurance company. It is well worth paying cash and receiving the fabulous care that I do with Linda.
I highly recommend Pathways Physical Therapy, Inc. in a heartbeat. I display Linda’s card in my massage therapy business and refer patients to her on a regular basis.

I started with Pathways in 2006. I had been diagnosed with cervical dystonia and the recommended treatment for the head tremor symptom was Botox. A friend encouraged me to meet with Linda Craig. I have never had treatment other than through Pathways, some acupuncture, and atlas orthogonal treatment with a chiropractor. My treatment for the dystonia, as well as other physical challenges over the years, with Linda and Kathy has been life changing and I am forever grateful.
I have to say I have never been treated the exact same way in reoccurring visits. Linda and Kathy listen to my issues and to my body and go to work releasing tension, muscles, and discomfort using a variety of touch therapies. Their knowledge the body and on-going education leads to innovative and successful treatment. I always walk away feeling different and improved!
In 2014 after visiting the ER due to a fall, Linda treated my jaw, as I was not able to open my mouth; the ER said I did not fracture it. I made progress with Linda’s three times a week session but when we stopped treatment my ability to open my mouth decreased significantly. Linda referred me to a specialist in Seattle who asked for the original scan and found a very fractured jaw. I do not have pain and I can eat most foods easily and I attribute those gifts to Linda as she was able to help my jaw stay mobile until the ultimate issue was diagnosed and treated.
My dystonia has never progressed beyond a mild head tremor, I can rotate my head beyond 180 degrees, tension in my neck and shoulders is mild, I can eat most foods, and I am continuing to take care of my body as I age. My husband and I go in for what we call monthly tune-ups!
Pathways is different from other physical therapy entities as they do not have set ways of treating individuals and issues. Their on-going assessment of the client each session and adjustment of the treatment based on verbal and physical input increases effectiveness and decreases time required to make progress.
I have recommended Pathways to several people and will continue to do so in the future. Their knowledge of the body and innovative practices far exceeds any other experiences I have had over the years. I highly recommend Pathways to you, too!

Last spring I brought my son to see Linda Craig on recommendation from his orthodontist. After seeing how she quickly identified weak muscles in his neck and core and seeing her manual techniques and expertise in head and neck issues, I got a referral to see her also. I have had neck and shoulder issues for many years as well as lower back pain. She has helped stop the tingling in my fingers that I was experiencing using a variety of methods and suggested that I would benefit from taking her RMR classes, which are based on Tom Bowen’s work, so I could treat myself as well as my son and other family members. The first class I took was on feet and jaw. I have a bunion on one foot and was delighted to see the swelling reduce and no longer painful. In fact, Ii was able to wear shoes that previously were too painful to wear. My mother also has bunions on her big toe on both feet and her second toe crossed over the big toe. She told me her toes had been that way for the last 30 years. I practiced using the technique I learned in Linda Craig’s RMR classes on my mother every day for two weeks. Her feet responded well and the toes uncrossed after a few treatments. She then had much more mobility in her feet and no pain!
Today my son’s smile is much broader and his jaw is becoming better aligned, and his posture continues to improve. Five months later and my mother’s toes are no longer crossed. My posture is continuing to improve and my neck and shoulder issues are so much less. She worked on my ribs recently which alleviated much of my lower back pain. My son, my mother, and I have all benefited because of Linda’s great healing touch. Her training and expertise in multiple ways to aid the body to heal are vast. She is truly different from the typical physical therapist. I feel so fortunate to have found her and recommend her highly!

Intra-oral work. Why would I want someone working in my mouth? I asked those same questions before I was introduced to this amazing work at Pathways Physical Therapy.
45 years of headaches stemming from an injury suffered as a child, and numerous migraines every year, sent me searching for relief. Add to that existing problem a herniated cervical disc and I was more than willing to try just about anything. After 35 years of ‘just about anything,’ including many different types of bodywork, chiropractic care and other modalities, I was fortunate to find Pathways Physical Therapy.
Linda and Kathy’s skilled hands and incredible understanding of the anatomy of the body including the fascia lead to results I did not count on or expect. For the first time since I was eight years old I have spent a year without experiencing a single migraine headache and I awake most every single day without constant tension in my neck. I am thrilled with the results and can’t speak highly enough of the work I received at Pathways from both Linda and Kathy. Get yourself in good hands and hopefully you too can be amazed and pain free. Those cranial bones and mouth muscles are connected to the neck after all!

I started seeing Linda in October 2011 for my left hip. My hip started bothering me about 10 years ago and I had to give up jogging. I still walked nearly every day. Then in the last couple of years, I had to cut my walking back to every other day or it would bother my hip. As the months went by, I had to make my walks shorter and less frequent. Then a couple of months prior to seeing Linda, it started becoming painful to climb stairs. I had to give up climbing the three flights of stairs in the parking garage after work and started taking the elevator most days. I am 49 years old and thought, ‘I’m too young for a hip replacement,’ and went to see Linda. After about four months of physical therapy, my hip was no longer bothering me. I was so excited to be able to climb stairs again. I don’t have to limit my walking and have started to do some moderate interval walk-jogs. At times when my hip feels off, I do a move Linda taught me that puts it back into a healthy position and go on with my day.
I’ve told quite a few friends about the work Linda does. It’s sad when someone seems to have their mind set on surgery and won’t consider other options, or at least try something different before surgery. For me, a few months of physical therapy beats hip surgery (and further damage from improper wear) any day.

I was amazed after 1 treatment from Linda the pain was 100% gone and the tingling was 50% improved which is why I wanted to come back to Pathways PT.
